Rebuilding the Mainstage

Our plant production manager has a huge ego. Apparently, according to him, he used to be some sort of track star. To prove how fast he is he has challenged a couple of workers to a race out in the parking lot some time ago (I had never heard of this). His record currently stands at two wins and zero losses. He beat the front desk secretary who was wearing a skirt and he beat the job scheduler who slipped at the starting line.

No one is sure how it happened but I'll be the next to race him. Being the former sprinter in track, I'll be putting an end to his ego trip on the high school track this spring. The race is 200 meters with him being given a five meter head start. Not a big deal really, that equates to roughly a half second for me. I plan on winning by one second. At least.

I want Bob to have proper motivation to beat me. I don't want his perfect record to bring about complacency. That's why I wrote him a song to listen to while he trains.
