It wasn't very long ago that I had a dream that would rival the most of unsettling dreams I've ever had.
I discovered a box in what seemed like some sort of cave or Druid meeting place. Inside the box I found a document that had been scribed 13,000 years ago. It listed the men who were supposed to become president of the United States. There were names I recognized, including Washington, Lincoln, Roosevelt, and even our current president, George Bush. I also remember seeing the name of Aaron Burr who was in the Revolutionary War and later tried for treason. Obviously, the course of our nation's political history didn't follow the document entirely. But recognizing the fact that there seemed to be a dark force behind what was to become our future history was absolutely unsettling. This was emphasized by the religious artifacts also in another compartment in the box. In a flash sequence within the dream I saw that these artifacts were used in self-mutilation. It was absolutely terrifying at that point.
After all that, I found myself back on the farm with my parents when I looked through a window to a night-filled sky. It was at this point when there were white lights shooting all across the sky. Every light was headed south and flying rather low.
The dark side just seemed so sinister in its forcing its will upon this country. New rules. New truth. It seemed like an apocalyptic invasion at which point my mom started freaking out about which side to fight on. I was shaking her and fighting her mind and what I believed she'd always known. It seemed to no avail as the dream faded out.
But I was ready to fight the invasion.
